Heat Transfer: Great for anything fabric. Ex Clothes, backpacks, a jacket...
How to apply:
- Position Your Design
- Press the transfer with an iron at 310°F / 155°C (cotton) with medium to high pressure for ~12 seconds. Use parchment paper or an old t shirt as a barrier between the iron and your item to protect your garment from touching the iron directly. Wait a few seconds and peel! If parts of the design are not sticking, lay it back down and press again with added pressure and heat (+15°F). If unsuccessful, increase heat by 15°F increments until it transfers correctly.

Sizing and Fit
The ONE Adventure Shirt is designed with a naturally slouchy, relaxed fit—giving kids extra comfort and freedom to move, play, and explore. We intentionally made the fit slightly larger than standard sizing so the shirt can grow with your child and last more than one year.
If you prefer a more fitted or true-to-size look, we recommend sizing down.
Still unsure? Check our size chart for exact measurements to find the best fit for your little adventurer!

How to take care of your Play Outside items
We make clothes that are meant to be worn outside, in the dirt and can take the rough and tumble. But here are steps you can take to make your clothes last longer and stay nicer.

The ONE Shirt
To ensure your Play Outside ONE Shirt remains in great condition and retains its performance benefits, follow these care instructions:
- Machine Wash Cold: Wash your bamboo shirt in cold water on a gentle cycle to preserve the fabric's softness and color.
- Use Mild Detergent: Opt for a mild, eco-friendly detergent to avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the bamboo fibers.
- Avoid Bleach: Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as they can weaken the fabric and reduce its lifespan.
- Tumble Dry Low or Dry Laying Flat: For best results, tumble dry on low heat or hang the shirt to air dry. High heat can cause shrinkage and damage the fabric.
- Steam: If the slouchy look isn't for you, a steamer will get the wrinkles right out, or just hang in the bathroom while you take a hot shower.
- Stains: Bamboo fabric is prone to oil stains. If you have an oil stain, simply add a little baking soda and detergent directly to the spot, leave there for a couple of minutes and then wash with the rest of the laundry.
Life Expectancy
With proper care, a Play Outside ONE Shirt can last 1-3 years, depending on the frequency of use and washing. The durability of the bamboo fabric ensures that the shirt remains soft, comfortable, and functional throughout its life, making it a long-lasting addition to your child’s outdoor wardrobe.

Straw Hats
Straw hats are fairly delicate, but with some basic care, they can last a long time. To ensure your straw hat remains in great condition and lasts for many adventures, please follow these care instructions:
- General Care: Avoid placing heavy objects on top of your hat to maintain its shape. Handle by the brim. Avoid pulling on the strings very hard, this will make the metal clasps pop out.
- Cleaning: For tougher stains, use a damp cloth with a mild soap solution. Gently blot the stained area and avoid soaking the straw.
- Reshaping: If your hat loses its shape, you can easily reshape it using a steamer. Hold the steamer about 6-8 inches away from the hat and evenly steam the areas that need reshaping. Gently mold the hat back to its original shape with your hands.
By following these care instructions, you can keep your straw hat looking stylish and ready for any adventure!
